Interviews and writing for this quarterly Herald newsletter consistently provided a voice for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; enhanced their equitable inclusion and community participation; promoted ways to prevent some disabilities; increased financial donations and both the businesses that hire people with disabilities and the projects provided to Arc occupational centers; and expanded philanthropic and volunteer contributions. During our 8-year partnership with The Arc of Somerset County, APCI received two communications awards from the greater Arc of New Jersey.
