Interviews and writing for this quarterly Herald newsletter consistently provided a voice for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; enhanced their equitable inclusion and community participation; promoted ways to prevent some disabilities; increased financial donations and the businesses that hire people with disabilities as well as the projects provided to Arc occupational centers; and expanded philanthropic and volunteer contributions. Over APCI’s 8-year partnership with The Arc of Somerset County, we received communications awards from the greater Arc of New Jersey.
